She descends from night sky,
Salt scented water crashing into sand,
Starlight glimmering beside the moon,
Illuminating footsteps on command.
By chance on this quiet night,
I walk this deserted beach,
In disbelief of this encounter,
She who seems just out of reach,
One glimpse into her eyes,
I find myself in a trance,
I simply must have my muse,
This might be my only chance.
I find the courage to summon,
Words written long ago,
Realizing in this moment,
They were waiting for her to show.
“I know even at first sight,”
”I shall always desire,”
”She who stands before me now,”
”Whose beauty forever inspires.”
Upon my confession I wait,
Hoping she’ll respond in kind,
But suddenly I become awake,
My muse remains in my mind.
